Based out of Cambodia since 2019, Casey currently is consulting as an international media and communications specialist for civil society actors and public entities, as well as consulting in the creative sector.He holds a Master's degree in International Relations & Global Enterprise from the University of Utah, which is located in Salt Lake City, Utah in the United States. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and minored in International Development from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.Casey is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and The Honor Society for International Studies (UofU Chapter). Facilitated by The Fund for American Studies, he has studied Political Theory at Hong Kong University, Developmental Economics at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic and Political Journalism in Washington D.C.through a partnership with George Mason University.In 2013, Casey became a staff reporter and digital news producer for The Daily Herald in Provo, Utah where he covered local events and community news for three years. He served as a school teacher in Zhenjiang, CHINA (Jiangsu Province) in 2016, and spent three years in Ho Chi Minh City, VIETNAM working as an language instructor and youth mentor from 2016-2019. Casey began working as a communications specialist for a research agency in Phnom Penh, CAMBODIA during summer 2019. Casey later consulted for a private school in Yangon, MYANMAR for improving English writing instruction for upper-secondary school learners.Casey has an interest to pursue a PhD program in Agricultural Sciences Education Communications at Purdue University in the United States.He enjoys attending performing arts events, writing song lyrics and producing travel videos in his free time.
