I also participate in high-level governance of the main AWS and sub accounts (there are dozens). For most of 2018 and 2019, I was instrumental in assisting with the migration of Deluxe On-Demand (VOD) systems from on-prem data centers to AWS and continued to support the systems and networks for the remaining on-prem infrastructure. In addition to my previous responsibilities, I expanded into other areas, including:• Maintained UAT, INT, TEST, and PROD environments and assisted software engineers with code deployments when needed (Jenkins, SVN, github) • Infrastructure monitoring via AWS CloudWatch, Zabbix, New Relic, Slack Alerts, PagerDuty and APM monitoring via Datadog to create/tailor alerts for operation and software development teams. • Worked with IT Security Team to ensure a secure footprint in our AWS cloud env via routine pen-tests and resolve findings in a timely manner. • Participated in the company’s Cloud Governance meetings • Administered a distributed Splunk Enterprise deployment that spanned across on-prem office locations in the US and multiple continents • Managed VMware vSphere env which hosted a number of on-prem VMs for applications/services use • Implemented and managed 3rd party cloud VDI connection broker solution (Leostream) in AWS • Building/maintaining operating system images for physical & virtual servers • Creating version-controlled automation scripts for various workflows • On-call support for application team escalations of infrastructure issues Show less
