As a recent graduate from Bachelor's of Manufacturing Engineering, I am passionate about utilizing my skills and knowledge to contribute to the growth and success of organizations. During my studies, and subsequent internships, I gained hands-on experience in various areas of manufacturing and production, including design, testing, and quality control.My internship in the oil and gas sector provided me with invaluable exposure to project management and production management processes. This experience has enhanced my understanding of the critical role that effective project management and production management play in driving the success of an organization.During my second internship, I collaborated with the continuous improvement team in a recycling environment, Cascades Recovery+, where I have developed a background in process optimization, data analysis, and project management..During my time in the Kelowna plant, I was responsible for overseeing all the lean related projects ongoing in the plant as well as developing new initiatives in our journey of continuous improvement. I benefited greatly from the team’s trust in my leadership where I picked up skills such as project and time management, technical presentations, mentoring and people skills.Currently Eligible for an Engineer-in-Training designation with a goal of achieving a professional engineer status in the next 5 years.
