Collaborated with senior leadership to design and deliver a robust professional learning model to support deeper teaching and learning pedagogies. Led research and implementation of innovative programs and teaching pedagogies. Refined and implemented an instructional coaching model while working directly with teachers to help them develop and achieve professional learning goals. Implemented Seesaw and achieved 90% teacher/student/parent satisfaction through careful pilot design and implementation. Achieved staff adoption at 100% across the elementary school inside six months. Championed literacy, math, and learning innovations through coaching model implementation. Focused on enhancing teaching practices by collaborating with teachers and leadership to strengthen personal goal and school vision alignment. Shifted mindsets to encourage an open, transparent, and collaborative approach to professional learning. Designed and delivered teacher training focused on utilizing technology to create deeper learning opportunities for students.  Focused on scaling technology adoption across the elementary school, including space design, software deployment, schedule design, and systems integration. Redesigned and redefined the Makerspace, which dramatically increased teacher/student use of the space.

Brought on to manage all aspects of the instructional design process and lead operational improvements, continuous learning strategies, and content management. A direct report to the Program Director, collaborated across the design of curricula as well as individual courses and determine the most effective online teaching and learning strategies. Completely redesigned, built, and migrated an entire 15-course Masters level online learning environment for the Arts Administration program. Developed instructionally sound and dynamic online instructor training. Promoted adoption of new technologies by program leadership and led training and development on new technologies.  Led instructional teams in design requirements, project development, and creation of training; delivered technology support and training for faculty and students.

Managed a team of partnership educators to deliver innovative teaching practices and strategies with the aim of transforming the state of Kentucky P-12 schools system.  Collaborated on the development and deployment of the University of Kentucky Next Generation Leadership Academy program across the state of Kentucky. Defined a structure for the L&D targets for rural Kentucky schools and delivered professional learning workshops and conferences, including recruitment of high-quality presenters; 95% workshop satisfaction scores. Collaborated with University and industry thought leaders to managed priorities, maintain focus, and provided consistent communication plans for short and long-term goals and program objectives.  Implemented and set learning objectives and course parameters with Kentucky superintendents and leadership; identified school level entry points and planned for broad-scale change initiatives. Identified with the Next Generation Leadership team, levers that influence performance while analyzing partner school to determine strengths, skill levels, and worked to design and implement programmatic assessment tools.

♣ Led the design and execution of the blended learning and technology integration and managed MS staff PD.♣ Created “Flipped” online Learning Management System and professional development program for the faculty.♣ Successfully rolled-out student iPads that delivered the Digital Citizenship Camp for middle school students. ♣ Managed and deployed iPads apps for ~400 schools, executed student and teacher training on classroom usage.♣ Trained teachers Apple products for the classroom, Google Tools among Gmail, Drive, Sites, Forms, and Calendars.

- Served on the technology committee- Brought the idea of moving the school to Google Apps, managed the transition and implementation- Successfully introduced the idea to move the school to Mac platform and was integral in managing the transition- Designed and Implemented a 1:1 iPad program in kindergarten- Developed and mapped the kindergarten curriculum using Atlas Rubicon-Provided ongoing staff development on integrating technology to enhance student learning- Provided staff development in the area of blogging. Helped the elementary school teachers create and maintain classroom blogs to showcase student learning and boost parent/school communication- Helped the middle school and the PE department to create a wikispace to boost student engagement and parent/school communication- Brought forth the idea of using Google sites as a digital portfolio for middle school students -Lead the yearbook committee to design and produce K-8 Yearbook in-house-(outsourced actual printing).- Developed and implemented a system for allowing students to contribute directly to their digital portfolios from their iPads using a combination of Skitch and Evernote. Shared and trained other elementary teachers on this process.- Served on the WASC mid-term accreditation team- Developed a way to automate the student lunch ordering system using Google Apps, specifically Google Forms. Trained local staff on process for successful management.- Co-Led “Fit Club” after school running program

- Set up Powerschool database which included reformatting all school, student and staff data from Rediker database and imported into PowerSchool database; including all student and teacher schedules PK-12, as well as all student and staff demographic information- Trained 120 staff on PowerTeacher Gradebook and the use of the Parent PortalTrained school administration and support staff on PowerSchool administration, as well as teacher and student information management- Served on the facilities WASC focus group- Successfully delivered K-2 IT curriculum

Responsible for managing the school's Student Information System changeover from Rediker to Power School. Was charged with migrating data across platforms as well as customizing Power School platform to work with our school schedule, reports, and calendar. Trained and supported administration and staff as well as managed system database.

- Served as grade level lead and helped create a comprehensive year long curriculum plan- Served as co-chair of elementary student council- Was chosen to pilot Mimio interactive whiteboards

- Successfully completed DIBELS (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills) training as well as implemented DIBELS benchmark and progress monitoring assessments- Successfully completed 60 hours (4 credit hours) of Sheltered English Immersion training- Chosen to pilot and train teachers in the use of Promethean boards

- Developed and implemented the technology curriculum for grades K-6 and 9-12 aligning the curriculum with the standards and benchmarks and Expected School-Wide Learning Results- Worked as a member of the 5 person School Planning Committee which successfully completed the WASC self study process securing the school’s re-accreditation- Was charged with keeping the document for the WASC self study which entailed collecting and compiling the data as well as designing, formatting and producing the final report- Worked with the School Planning Committee to successfully develop a School Improvement Plan- Was a member of the technology committee which successfully developed and implemented a comprehensive 3 year Technology Plan in line with the Expected School-Wide Learning Results- Successfully developed and lead a multi-day student adventure trip for grade 9- Provided ongoing training for teachers for related software programs such as Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Suite
