About Daniel Davey

With over nineteen years of experience in the hospitality industry, I am a passionate and driven leader specialising in subconscious premiumization. Subconscious premiumization is the art and science of creating an atmosphere, service, and product that appeals to the guests' subconscious desires and emotions and influences their perception of value and quality. As the General Manager of The Freston Boot, a restaurant and pub, I am responsible for running the restaurant, maintaining health & safety, purchasing decisions and staffing budgets, staff training and development, and maintaining exceptional standards in hygiene, food and drinks presentation and taste, and guest satisfaction. I also monitor and anticipate market trends and consumer preferences, implement innovative strategies to attract and retain guests and increase revenue and profitability. My mission is to change the world by making guests happier when they leave than when they walked in, as Gaz Regan said.
