If you don’t know me, welcome to my LinkedIn profile. I hope this means we may have the chance to work together some day!Residing in Washington, D.C., I am a part-time Master of Public Policy candidate at American University, currently seeking full-time employment. I have demonstrated expertise, among many fields, in stakeholder management, logistic support and planning, team leadership, and policy analysis.While a student at UC San Diego (BA ’21, International Studies), I had the unique opportunity to play a considerably outsized role in the creation and revision of academic and institutional policies in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. And my work in education policy on behalf of the government, students, a university, or a non-profit continues. Most recently, I have primarily served in contract, temporary, advisory, and volunteer roles, but I am looking to secure a new full-time role.In many of my past positions, I have taken advantage of my unique community and equity-focused background and my ability to objectively look at and pay high attention to detail to successfully lead diverse teams, execute substantial projects, streamline long-term data collection efforts, and include new stakeholders and perspectives.When I am not working on coursework/research or in a professional setting, I indulge myself by watching TV shows like Parks and Recreation, Frasier (the original one), The West Wing, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine; experimenting in the kitchen; and taking pictures in the great outdoors.

Principal Undergraduate Representative – San Diego Divisional Academic Senate

Enacted several comprehensive policy changes and introductions benefiting students as the primary student voice in the San Diego Division of the University of California Academic Senate. Successful amendments included revisions and updates to the UCSD Policy on Integrity of Scholarship, course policies in the Divisional Senate Regulations, and committee representation within the Divisional Senate Bylaws.• Notably, I successfully lobbied for a series of Pass/No Pass and Withdraw restriction reductions during the COVID-19 Pandemic, many of which remained in effect after the Pandemic. • Additionally, I proposed and formulated much of UCSD's first policy mandating course syllabi. My efforts also shepherded revisions and introductions at other Divisional Senates.Actively deliberated in meetings of numerous Academic Senate Standing Committees to ensure sufficient discussion of students' interests and needs as pedagogical, budgetary, admissions, and equity priorities were being reshaped by faculty and senior administrators at a time when it was especially important to alleviate the academic impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
