I’m back to the next round of entrepreneurship. Finer details of this B-C journey remain un-public, just till the near future. However, here are the broad contours of the venture:1) Making lives of HomeMakers easier, with the required FinTech services plugged-in &2) Financial inclusion of a large section of the urban poorMeanwhile I continue to work with businesses and assist them in their goals, however, with smaller no of assignments and less intense engagements.I also work closely with entrepreneurs/students recommended by CIIE, IIM Ahmedabad and Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Kharagpur for new businesses ideas, revolving largely around tech enabled solutions.I have had the benefit of a well-rounded exposure to running my own fitness business, making professional investments in unlisted businesses on behalf of Merrill Lynch, advising businesses on Mergers & Acquisitions as well as capital raise and doing hardcore furniture sales. I had the fortune of acquiring deep insights while investing in businesses ranging from toll roads, telecom, financial services, wind energy to HR solutions. Skill set & approach acquired during education at IIT + IIM, some of the best Indian campuses, have also helped. Networks acquired during my professional career as well as from college days have been of immense help in providing a complete solution to clients. Mentoring of start-ups starting from ideation to execution stages provides me a window to new innovations & ideas and to new practices from the world of technology and changing consumer behaviour.X Factor: I get fidgety if I have to go without my regular tennis & gym routine. CeoCirka Fitness Aug 2009 - Feb 2012Mumbai Area, IndiaCirka Fitness provided fitness & weight loss by spending just about 20 hours per quarter. Workout regime consisted of a 30 minute guided exercise thrice a week supplemented with healthy natural diet. The centre used non-injurious & easy to use hydraulic machines meant to be used by any person starting from the age of early teens.This was the first such centre to have started in Mumbai, and among the first few in India. In hindsight its easy to see that it was too early for a market where walking/running is still the most common exercise, and even the traditional iron weight gyms are struggling to make serious inroads.Cirka was running a solo centre at Juhu in Mumbai, India
