Passion infuses and defines my teaching style, with high energy rehearsals and lessons that seek to ignite the same passion in students. I see the goal of music education to give students a level of agency over the music we all interact with every day. I am interested in cultivating students' drive to engage art in a critical manner, and create meaningful educational experiences for students.I consider myself highly adaptive to the application of technology as a tool in the music classroom. While so much of the traditional ensemble class is based around analog instruments, there are ways to make use of it in the classroom and in engagement of art outside of the rehearsal setting.
