• March – July 2014, Interviewed and assessed applicants for Peace Corps service. Worked closely with placement to nominate for service. Followed up with applicants about legal issues and suitability for service. Received training on new interview system in Summer 2014. Tracked all communications in DOVE and moved applicants to appropriate Reqs. • Recruit and advise interested applicants for service. Mentor on how to be more competitive and what skills to gain for service. Coach not selected applicants on how to reapply for service. • Obtain lead information and follow up with potential applications through ATS by Kenexa. Utilize CRM to communicate with stakeholders and influencers.• Created Administrative Task Force to assist management in delegating additional administrative tasks. Ran meetings, took minutes, and drafted proposed solutions to office issues. • Plan and implement campaign to recruit at 10 universities. Maintain relationship with stakeholders in region. • Founded an Agricultural Women’s Group. Received local and departmental recognition from the municipalities. Recognized officially in order to apply for funding.• Developed a sustainable chicken coop project with local Women’s Group. Built 8 chicken coops and each family received 25 chicks. Assisted group in grant development, strategic planning, goal formation, as well as monitoring and developing the grant budget. Resulted in an additional source of income and empowered local females in the community. • Worked as a translator for Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity and helped over 2,500 Paraguayans receive free eye care. • Renovated hives with local beekeepers and assisted in wild hive captures. Allowed farmers to maintain hives at reduced cost and increase their honey output.
