The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is a Swiss-based foundation launched at the UN in 2002 to tackle the human suffering caused by malnutrition. Working with both governments and businesses, we aim to transform food systems so that they deliver more nutritious food for all people. In particular, we aim to make healthier food choices more desirable, more available, and more affordable. I'm honored to have been selected to work with Youngo’s Global Affairs unit as the Country Contact Point (CCP) of Bangladesh for COY17, which will take place in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt in the upcoming November.I will work with the Global Affairs unit (GAU) to assist the youth from Bangladesh to attend the Conference of Youth (COY17) actively and have their own individual, as well as organizational voices, heard in and through the global youth statement collaboratively with the Global Affairs Unit based on their passion and expertise.

WAVE Foundation emerged as a Civil Society Organization in 1990. Since its establishment, the organization has been implementing multifaceted activities for the socio-economic development of the poor and marginalized as well as the establishment of universal human rights and good governance. Besides, the organization is conducting issue-based policy advocacy and campaigns. WAVE follows an integrated approach where combination of service delivery, rights based and creative transformation address the urgent and immediate concern of the poor and structural dimension of poverty and inequality.Responsibilities:- Coordinated the “Youth in Climate Action Promotion (YCAP)” project under Norec International Exchange Fellowship Programme and engaging in regular partnership implementation of both online and offline activities with WAVE Foundation and DHAN Foundation under this programme;- Developed the “Project Operational Guide” and the “Youth Leadership on Climate Action Promotion Training Manual” to implement the Fellowship Programme at the community level in both Bangladesh and India which is ensuring the sustainability and the effective implementation of the model;- Organized and facilitated more than 12 training sessions for 180+ youth from diverse groups from marginalized communities in the district level in Bangladesh;- Conducted need assessment to demonstrate small scale Community Based Climate Action Project (CCAP) and manage Learning Management System and the virtual workplace; - Prepared communications materials- newsletters, reports, and audio-visual production in regular interval on project activities;- Foster knowledge exchange by preparing case studies, articles and toolkits on the unique features and best practices;

- Implemented Norec International Exchange project activities under the instruction and guidance of Norec, WAVE Foundation and DHAN Foundation;- Prepared business plan and project proposal for 16 Farmer Producers' Organization-FPO on Small Farming a Viable Business;- Made Liaison with Govt. INGOs/NGOs and other stakeholders for maintaining time to time collaboration;- Operated the ICT based FPO monitoring tool to capacitate on the FPO operation management and Capacity building of staff on ICT based monitoring tools and FPO operation and management;- Supported to prepare training modules in the digital training platform;- Facilitated and Develop Module and IEC materials to train both WAVE and DHAN participants;- Supported administrative and program management activities; budgeting; action plan; minutes of meeting; agreements; and event/ campaign report;- Prepared project activities reports, case studies and articles on the unique features and best practices;- Supported communication team for maintaining 5 social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram) the engagement of social media is increased 170%. - Created ICT based FPO monitoring software applications to assist in Farmers Organization smooth activities running and monitoring across all 16 FPOs. The amount of Physical visit at field and miscommunication decreased by 10% as a result.

- Implemented “Right to Food Bangladesh” Network Campaign and its activities; - Developed the project proposal and agenda in line with donor and organization's policy;- Mobilized more than 800 youth from 24 Universities and Colleges in “Right to Food and Nutrition” campaign;- Supported in developing SoP and guidelines for the existing and future activities under the “Right to Food Bangladesh” campaign;

- Communicated with relevant stakeholders of “Right to Food Bangladesh” network - Lead the milestone movement of 3m signatures on demanding “Right to Food Act” in Bangladesh;- Mobilized local youth communities to ensure the implementation of campaign activities to scale up in diverse communities; - Supported content writing for audio and visual contents along with newsletter design for the external media communications.

Active Citizens is a social leadership training programme of British Council that aims to bring about sustainable social change within communities by establishing a global network of leaders.Facilitated more than 10 batches of young energetic people who are working in Social Action Projects, Community Development, Quality Education, project management skill development, poverty reduction, decent work environment, climate change and apply policies in mainstreaming development, youth advocacy and planning etc.• Conduct all type of meeting, training, Seminar, advocacy and led to the team• Organizing in-house and offsite activities, like presentations and role-playing exercises• Coordinate and lead Monitoring and Evaluation team, activities and generate innovative ideas.• Mentoring Social Action Projects
