Lecturer for the second class in the Full Stack Development in JavaScript series. I introduced students to React, teaching the fundamentals of React as well as intermediate best practices. We covered routing, state management, React lifecycle, functional vs class based components and using the fetch API to perform CRUD actions. Over the course I also introduced concepts of deployments, unit testing, and interacting with Firebase for auth and for simple database creation.

As lead technical developer on a team of six for an e-commerce project at large internet e-commerce site. I architected the front end, defined code standards, designed component patterns, created and maintained code repositories. Integrated application into larger codebase using module federation.Designed and developed custom landing site for a large multinational insurance company's upcoming product. Introduced subtle CSS animations to provide an engaging site, while maintaining accessibility.Led effort at large social media company to consolidate features from two competing data annotating software into one. Redundant project was able to be removed saving the company over $1m in annual salaries as team was able to be assigned to other projects within the company.Led front end effort to build fee and tax tracking tool for Fortune 500 telecommunications company. Working with specific client needs I wrote the front end in Angular 2 and was able to create code that worked on older browsers running Internet Explorer, but was also scaleable to modern browsers.Collaborated on custom sales tracking tool for international beer and wine importer built using Angular 1.
