What do yo u get when you combine your passion for children and your passion for community involvement? You get an FSS. As an FSS for the Preschool Development Program grant provided to CH+A in Carpentersville, I have the opportunity to work in a program that plans on making a difference in families lives. Education is important at any age, especially the first years in a child's life. These are the years where children absorb the most and they set the pace for the rest of their academic career. Children have the right to an education, regardless of their parent's income or any other limitations their family might have. This federal initiative is a step in the right direction and I am pleased to be a part of it.
