Involved in all operational aspects of MR Research Lab at University of Washington including: On MR Lab Design/Build/Installation Team, MR safety testing, operator training, experimental equipment, coil design, development, and testing, sequence development, protocol development, paradigm development, data acquisition and QA, data management, post processing, data interpretation, publication, assist in grant proposals, trouble shooting and service, liaison with vendor R&D, admin and billing. Developed and implemented new techniques at UW such as DTI, HARDI, diffusion kurtosis, B0 mapping, JRES, SECSI, 31P CSI, double echo perfusion (Sorenson), and QBOLD.Created rapid, collaborative pilot project program with Principle Investigators testing new hypotheses with novel acquisition methods obtaining pilot data leading to faster successful grant applications, newly funded projects, and the financial recovery of the Research Lab.
