Director, Community Affairs
Current-Lead and manage numerous aspects of MLB's community affairs initiatives, including strategic planning, program development, and partnership cultivation.-Oversee several MLB Jewel Event Day activations including Jackie Robinson, Roberto Clemente, Armed Forces Day and provide guidance on outreach, event planning, and stakeholder engagement.-Develop and implement innovative programs to address key social issues and support underserved communities across MLB's markets.-Manage departmental budget and allocate resources effectively to support community programs, events, and initiatives.-Serve as a liaison between MLB and external stakeholders, representing the organization at community events, meetings, and conferences.-Forge strategic partnerships with nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors to maximize resources and impact.
