Operations Coordinator
Current• Implementing and monitoring daily production and quality standards.• Training, supervising, and evaluating the performance of assigned warehouse employees.• Communicating daily expectations and coaching employees.• Counseling and initiating corrective action as necessary in cases of policy violations.• Monitoring current production schedules •Estimating employee hour requirements for completion of job assignments.• Training new employees within their department as well as on current company policies.• Providing continued education and training to current employees, as necessary.• Generating and completing productivity reports in a timely fashion.• Performing quality control checks on orders to ensure order accuracy.• Operating hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts in a safe manner and within company guidelines.• Recommending programs to improve warehouse and delivery service operations• Training employees on operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment, as well as safety guidelines for each.• Ensuring compliance with all Company policies; as well as all federal, state and local regulations.• Ensuring all warehouse equipment is properly maintained, repaired, and meeting safety regulations.• Conducting warehouse inspections to ensure safe working conditions for all employees• Identifying and removing all potential workplace hazards.• Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and following prescribed safety regulations.
