Hello! My name is Manuel Rodriguez, I'm a Cuban American originally from Miami, Florida and I am currently a student at California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and I am majoring in pure Computer Science with a concentration in Machine Learning and Computer Vision. In my schoolwork, research position, and start up in Quantitative Finance, I have delved into machine learning models for time series forecasting as well as general deep learning models and architectures like Long Short Term Memory models, Gradient Boosted Decision Tree models, and Transformer-based models like PatchTST (Time Series Transformer) and Google's ViT (Vision Transformer).
