**Healthcare**I graduated Nursing School at University of Alabama Huntsville in 2011 and subsequently started working at Huntsville Hospital on a step-down respiratory care unit.In 2014, I moved to Houston TX as a contract Nurse working at Ben Taub General Hospital on a step-down unit focused on critical wound management. Most patients in this setting were post-op an extensive surgery(s), including newly post-op open heart surgery, FLAPs w/ & w/o skin grafts. In 2015, I moved into a completely different specialty where I oversaw lung cancer & H/N clinical trials for 5+ years at MD Anderson University of Texas. This position's primary role was supervision of multiple trials individually investigating non-FDA approved treatment(s) w/ possible sub-cohorts depending on prior treatments, stage of cancer, etc.. as well as handling the personal oversight of enrolled patient's care, on and off trial, liaison between departments within the institution, as these patient's - in most cases - required a multidisciplinary healthcare approach, and liaison with the trial's Pharmaceutical Company and their third party agency hired to routinely audit open trials. I promptly obtained a Senior status, which included peer-supervision and resource availability for our team of nurses, coordinators, and data entry team.I departed Houston in 2020 to accept another senior research nurse position overseeing a rapidly developing Lung Cancer Clinical Trial program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.The pandemic, as we all can attest to, complicated this transition. As a result, I departed Vanderbilt and started a new role back working in the inpatient setting, again with main focus on patients presenting mild to severe respiratory complications primarily related cardiac or pulmonary -- single or multi-factorial -- etiologies.** Crypto**In early 2017 I developed a curiosity and interest in this new and novel domain.
