I have been a key member of the Technical Support Team and Implementation for the division of Cassidian Communications that does IP Based P25 Systems Integration. I have a background in multiple disciplines. These include Digital Trunked LMR radio systems, IP Network, Microwave. I have experience deploying entire radio network, troubleshooting and resolving issues including but not limited to switches, routers, and sun server as well as faulty or damaged RF or ethernet cables and connectors. I am familiar with an array of test equipment for example Aeroflex IFR and Annritsu LMR Master and have demonstrated my ability to use these both in the field and in our Lab. I have also had to learn and become familiar with many different P25 capable subscriber unit radios programming and features. This includes both handheld and mobile units mounted in vehicles. Examples include Motorola, Tait, EF Johnson, Kenwood, Relm, and Thales units. I also have experience with various third party peripherals to include consoles (both Avtec and Zetron), recorders (exacom and Nice), alarm aggregators, UPS systems, Microwave, hard patch solutions, and SNMP management (WUG and Orion). This includes configuration, commissioning and troubleshooting. I also build the systems used in every Trade Show and customer demonstrations as well as present the systems and capabilities at these events. Examples of this are IWCE, APCO, NOBLE, and IFC among many others. I have been key on all projects since I have joined the team. These projects include Cumberland County in Tennessee, Golden Gate in California, RCMP in Canada, City of Richardson in Texas, Buncombe County in North Carolina, and Billings in Montana.

In charge of the operation and maintenance of the only Tetrapol Network In the USA at that time. This gave me experience with Radio Trunked technology for both voice and data. Other duties Included, apply advanced technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Examples of such problems include determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering changes. Work typically requires a detailed understanding of the interrelationships of circuits. I exercises independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow. I Use complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment. Functional testing consisting of performing operational and diagnostic checks and scheduled preventive maintenance, unscheduled (corrective) maintenance and repair; to include troubleshooting, replacement of faulty parts and realignment and recheck of system; employment of a variety of specialized test equipment and complex electronic schematics and diagrams in conducting fault isolation, and use the data gained through the troubleshooting/repair process to prepare and revise maintenance instructions and procedures and to recommend and implement manufacturer/engineering changes. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices. I provide technical guidance to lower level technicians as well as supervision, coordination, scheduling, and training of team members. Adhere to Company, Site Manager, Division Manager and Team leader directives, memoranda, policies and procedures. Support quality/ISO, security and training programs and all duties assigned.

Promoted and transferred to Las Vegas to field any technically related customer issue. This included High Speed Internet tier I & II issues as well as video and telephony issues. Training included the following: -Completed a one-week training course consisting of Advanced Windows and Macintosh troubleshooting techniques and fixes. -Advanced training in DHCP, DNS troubleshooting, as well as increased feature support and the ability to take calls from all geographic locations of the cable plant.-Completed a three-week training course consisting of Intro to cable television, basic and advanced entertainment centers, and new products. -Completed a five-week training course consisting of Introduction to Cable technology, data over cable communication protocols as well as others protocols, internet basics, cable plant architecture, NIC characteristics, DHCP, PC configurations, software settings, internet explorer settings, diagnostic utilities, systematic troubleshooting, and account database handling with the highest marks in the class*Promoted to Tier II in less than a year. Continued to meet and exceed expectations as a Tier II High Speed Internet Technical Representative.*Met and exceeded new hire expectations as a Tier 1 High Speed Internet Technical Representative *Helped develop better product support through feedback and a better monitoring system.
