I have the qualities and skills that make me a great asset in the maritime industry. I am highly qualified, trained and certified through the Massachusetts Maritime Academy as well as through my United States Coast Guard Reservist experience. Privileged to be working as the Marine Operations Manager at Vestas focused on service vessels. Planning, developing and managing cost effective vessel solutions throughout all stages of Vestas' OSW projects. Contributing to the team as a subject matter expert of crew transfer (CTV) and service operation vessels (SOV).Through my shipping in the Offshore Supply industry, I have gained extensive knowledge and experience in operating vessels'​ Dynamic Positioning and Manual modes. My position required me to maneuver the vessel while docking, at sea, and during cargo operations offshore. A great benefit to my position is ship-handling experience using Azimuth Drives. I became a key component in completing and inspecting the vessel's records for internal/external, class and client audits. Focusing on the crew's safety, I was heavily involved in the implementation of the company's Safety Management System. This position required me to be a part of a crew that success was based on teamwork. I am currently serving as a Boatswain's Mate First Class in the United States Coast Guard Reserve. This position allows me to enhance my leadership, crew management and professional skills. As a Boatswain Mate, I operate as part of a crew on small vessels engaging in search and rescue and port security operations. As a crewman, I must demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to contribute to the success of any mission.
