I am a highly qualified teacher in Montgomery County Public Schools with certifications in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, and Generic Special Education. I am licensed and highly qualified to teach grades PreK-6 in general education and grades 1-8 in special education. My interdisciplinary liberal arts preparation, vast knowledge of effective teaching practices, as well as my multiple experiences in a variety of elementary grades have prepared me to meet the needs of all students and help them succeed. I encourage creativity and higher order thinking, as well as focus on social emotional learning. I analyze data and patterns to help differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse students and increase student performance. I collaborate with colleagues to share and learn new information and perspectives. I am an energetic, flexible, hardworking and outgoing individual who is committed to lifelong learning.
