Insight Analytics Internship: Participant Write Up Established in August 2018, the Insight Analytics Data Labelling Internship has the primary goal of collaborating with the SITEL Data Science Team. Participants get to work with Data Scientists from the Philippines, the United States, and the United Kingdom. They are assigned diverse data labelling projects that play vital roles with the Company’s initiatives such as machine learning development and automation opportunity analysis. These projects differ in labelling components, support complexity and delivery timeline to ensure participants experience as much real work scenarios as possible. This allows students to understand the importance of punctuality, due diligence, accountability, and sense of teamwork. The program not only puts a premium on intellectual progress but also moral responsibility. The Insight Analytics department firmly believes that interns should be prepared for potential future employers regardless of career path. So, when not engaged in data labelling projects, students are immersed in supplemental activities such as basic Microsoft Excel training, presentation skills development and weekly team building events. Overall, the Insight Analytics Data Labelling Internship has been a sustainably productive initiative that adds value to strategic Clients and holistically promotes employment readiness.
