I am a friendly and motivated Store Assistant with over ten years of professional experience in retail. I have also completed a higher level of training for management within the industry. During my time at Sainsbury's I have won Colleague of the Year four times due to my individualism, passion and drive towards LGBT diversity in the workplace. I am now keen to utilise my skills in communication, organisation and leadership for a future career.I am a dedicated media savvy individual who is passionate about television and film and have previously worked in local television. Not only have I a range of experience as a producer and editor in multiple media platforms, I have previously presented a weekly radio show and written articles for a gaming magazine. In 2018 I finished creating a mockumentary web-series after successfully reaching my Kickstarter goal. Throughout all my previous roles I was looked up to by staff for help and guidance in their work. I am enthusiastic to learn more and am confident in my work ethic and dedication to producing successful results. I believe I have built up a great range of skills throughout my career path from equipment knowledge to marketing skills to management.I'm passionate about media and in my spare time I enjoy creating videos and have most recently created a web series. My roles within the project included writing, production, marketing and editing. As the head of marketing for the series we successfully funded a Kickstarter campaign to raise money to create the show. The series appeared in multiple newspapers and on radio stations to promote the series.I have previously been an Assistant News Editor and Technical Director for That’s Oxfordshire TV on Freeview. I have a background in radio in which I presented and produced my own radio show on Witney Radio, I am competent in a wide range of media production activities and particularly excel in video editing and camera operation. I am confident with video editing software and have been responsible for overseeing work of others. I have also worked as a Videoographer for a local production company and created corporate videos for businesses.I gained a BTEC National Diploma in Media Communications at the Abingdon and Witney College, which gave me a good grounding for working in both local television and for a local video production company Arrow Productions, as well working on several documentary style YouTube channels as a camera person and editor.
