Hello LinkedIn Community! In the third grade at Grant Elementary School in Oakland, California I became student of the month! Mrs. Hauben "interviewed" me for my spotlight poster to be hung in the main hallway for everyone to see! The last question was "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Without hesitation, I said, "I AM going to be a teacher!"I LOVE learning and I love teaching even more! I have brought the teaching and learning experience into every aspect of my life. I have been a technology instructor for over 20 years. I have worked as an analyst, support staff, manager, and even a personal assistant! I've always enjoyed working as support staff and I enjoy sharing knowledge and watching students flourish because of my words and experience!I am continuing to train in various fields in IT so that I can stay current! In 2021 I became certified as an IT Essentials Instructor through CISCO Networking Academy and have used what I've learned and applied it to my Computer Information Systems and Cybersecurity courses.I am most proud of giving birth to an amazing young man who is an exceptional human being!
