I am kick starting my career in the charity sector. I am passionate about social inclusion and reaching all members of society and my dissertation focused on changing attitudes to divorce in the South Asian community in the UK. I am keen to help reach marginalised and disadvantaged groups.Having graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Politics and International Relations, I am enjoying my position in a progressive organisation. I have event administration and proofreading experience having freelanced for a publications management company to check content on several NGO publications and conference collateral for events. I have a keen interest in events management, and have helped coordinate grand events during my time at the NSPCC. These events have hosted hundreds of guests, which required a calm disposition and a can-do attitude. I have been able to solve last minute problems so that the events could proceed smoothly. I have had experience with social media management, at MNDA, where I produced content for their local offices in South London. Enhancing my copywriting and communications skills, I delivered on informing and updating the MNDA community on successes for the charity, through a variety of channels.. I am personable and enjoy developing excellent relationships with all those I work with. I am enthusiastic about whatever I do and have a positive attitude to life, which I bring to the workplace.
