With over a decade of transformative work, I’ve dedicated my career to reshaping the landscape of care for vulnerable children in Western Kenya. My journey has been marked by leading initiatives that prioritise not just protection, but true healing and thriving—creating environments where children can feel safe, nurtured, and valued.From building professional family tracing teams to orchestrating complex reunification programmes, I’ve witnessed the power of quality care and its ripple effect on children and communities. But my work goes far beyond the immediate. I’ve led organisations through challenging transitions, such as the transformation of the Kenyan Children’s Project into Safe International, which required a complete reimagining of governance structures, partnership models, and ethical standards. Through these changes, my core belief has never wavered: that sustainable, child-centered care is the key to lasting impact.My expertise spans strategic development, safeguarding, trauma recovery, NGO and charity management, and governance reform. I’m passionate about implementing innovative approaches that not only ensure organisational effectiveness but do so with integrity, compassion, and sustainability at the heart.For me, true reform in child care is not just about changing systems—it’s about elevating the quality of care and fostering resilience in children.
