Customer: London Metal Exchange, Bursa Italiana October, 2013 - May, 2014Project: Teevra GatewayDescription: Teevra Gateway provides a single gateway for financial institutions to connect to different clearing houses for listed derivatives clearing across asset classes using diverse formats and communication protocols.It supports all clearing messages and also supports wide variety of standard data format.Role: 1)Lead a team of two developers to understand new requirements, supervise, develop and deliver it to end client. 2) Developed FIXML gateway for London Metal Exchange and Bursa Italiana.3) Reviewed code changes made by peer collegues. Technologies: Core Java, OSGI, FIXML, FIX and Maven.Customer: Bursa Malaysia Berhad August, 2012 - September, 2013Project: Bursa Malaysia Gateway(BMG) Description: Bursa Malaysia Berhad is an exchange holding company and operates a fully integrated Malaysian national exchange. It was replacing their current trading platform (the NYSE platform) with the NASDAQ OMX X-stream INET trading system. I was involved in multiple streams for the implementation of x-stream INET providing comprehensive end-to-end service capabilities covering all the Bursa Messaging Gateway platform requirements. I was part of core development team and had direct customer interaction at Malaysia for two months.Role:1) Developed end to end system for ECS (Equity Clearance and Settlement) which involved:-a) failed trade consumption and withdrawal, sending buyin order to TE, updating DB in case of successful trade.b) All message consumption such as trade messages, referrence data, securities into BMG DB, generate trade files, market maker report, trade statistics report and sending it to customer via email or transferring it securely by SFTP or FTP. 2) Developed the BMG system for error handling, failover recovery, performance enhancement using multithreading and developing system for technical support.
