The CEFB is a University-Wide Center focused on research about Entrepreneurship and Family Business. We are bringing the next generation of Entrepreneurship to Texas Tech & our neighbors in the South Plains. Undergraduate & graduate-level certificates & degree plans are available. Collaborative partnerships available across all 11 Texas Tech University colleges. Advising TTU chapter of Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization, supporting students in business-plan competitions, offering professional-development workshops & listening to management teams’ needs & transformationally facilitating their needs into actionable leadership strategies.

The ILR is a Texas Tech University Center engaged in researching various streams of leadership. While academic research is paramount to our center, we are also concerned with how the academic and theoretical approaches translate to practice. Consequently, we are actively engaged with the entire university community in creating programs that can contribute to the overall effectiveness of Leadership Development.

E2Amm, LLC means Electricity ->To-> Ammonia. The company was founded by Mr. John Fleming, who has developed and patented a very low cost and effective way to produce ammonia on a modular scale to create a distributed ammonia business. This technology converts electrical energy into a premium product of Anhydrous Ammonia, which is the feed-stock for all nitrogen fertilizers in the world.E2Amm produces The Fleming Ammonia Machine (FAM) system. A FAM consists of hydrogen units housed in three 20' shipping containers which together represent a significant electrical load of around 5-MW. The Ammonia Production module is housed in a 40' shipping container and converts electricity into Anhydrous Ammonia. Mr. Fleming's process is unique in that it is electrically driven. Ammonia in a converted state is the equivalent of $60.00/MWh electricity.
