Over the summer I interned at Honda in East Liberty in the equipment group in the assembly department. I redesigned multiple equipment including a rear suspension arm lift by altering the design to a dynamic arm to make it useable for four models rather than the static one model design. I worked with multiple departments including process and safety to ensure all alterations were up to quality and ergonomic standards. I was able to work with my hands in the fabrication shop to make my designs come to life and test the prototypes with real parts. Among the tools and knowledge I used were band saws, disc sanders and grinders, drills, hand tools and MIG welding.

Creating programs and methods in order to accurately show the production time of different sections of manufacturing.
