My mission is to inspire others to speak up in order to be their authentic self, I create a safe environment that engages and connects with clients to manage their emotions.Mental health is important because it affects someone’s behavior, how they react to others, and how they handle stress. Taking care of someone’s mental health can lead to a healthier relationship between themselves and the world around them. Unfortunately, not everyone has access to mental health.BI-POC, LGBTQ+, and people with disabilities are often the last to have the access to mental health.Being LGBTQ, LATINX, and a person with a disability myself, I want to strive to help individuals by providing queer-affirming therapy. As well as providing therapy in Spanish for Latinx individuals. I also want to provide therapy that doesn’t feel people think their disability is a negative thing in their life, instead of affirming them that anything is possible.I am currently seeking a full-time role as a Limited-Permit Mental Health Counselor in a nonprofit serving the LGBTQ+ and Bi-Poc community.
