As the Digital Literacy Coordinator at Avondale College, I lead the staff training and change management initiatives to upskill educators with digital literacy skills for teaching and learning. I have over 1.5 years of experience in this role, and over 10 years of experience in the education sector as an English teacher and an assistant director of English.I hold a Masters in Education Practice with Distinction from The University of Auckland, a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Leadership in Education from Unitec Institute of Technology, and several Microsoft certifications in 21st century learning design and Microsoft 365 teacher academy. I am passionate about empowering teachers and students to leverage technology for enhancing learning outcomes, engagement, and collaboration. I am also skilled in project leadership, designing learning, and facilitating workshops. My mission is to support the digital transformation of education and foster a culture of innovation and excellence at Avondale College.
