He served on the California Board of Accountancy for 13 years from December 2010 until November 2023 and held the position of President in 2022, 2018 and 2014 and also served as Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer. The CBA regulates more than 115,000 licensees in California.Michael has over 50 years of experience where his primary emphasis is business related accounting and tax matters working with high net-worth individuals and their businesses. He works closely with clients on succession planning and exit strategies, and has been a speaker for the CalCPA Education Foundation on these issues, with an emphasis on ESOP’s. He recently spoke at the Braden Leadership Institute of Golden Gate University in San Francisco.He previously served as the treasurer of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce and served on their finance committee, executive committee and board. Michael was born and raised in NYC and graduated from Pace University.
