I currently work as an English as a second language teacher for Brazilians located throughout Brazil and Portugal. It is part of my routine to capture new students, prepare and teach classes remotely.

As an architecture intern at an engineering company, activities such as on-site surveys were part of my routine as well as development of renovation and retrofit projects for facades and common areas of residential condominiums, including all basic designs as well as hydraulic and electrical installations. In addition to the projects, I was also in charge of producing presentations for clients with technical drawings and renderings. During this period I had the opportunity to work in a hybrid workplace for the first time, which gave me the opportunity to learn how to manage my time to optimize my work, study and college schedule. I also believe that I became a professionally more independent person because several project and demands prioritization decisions were my responsibility.

In this position, my routine activities included preparing and teaching classes, carrying out level tests, correcting activities, monitoring student motivation and collaborating with the organization, maintenance and decoration of the work environment. I was able to develop a lot my ability to speak in public and have a more assertive communication, so much so that today I have a lot of ease in making presentations and exposing myself because I am very familiar with it. I had the honor of being awarded a promotion with only 6 months of service for the excellent work performed in my role but mainly for being a helpful and proactive person in disposing of myself to solve problems or emergency situations. (One of the requirements for promotion was to have at least 12 months at home).
