• Implemented Oracle Golden Gate solution to build one-way and bi-directional replication across various Southwest operational systems. Designed and implemented an Oracle Golden Gate Downstream solution to achieve high availability with a critical reporting application. • Part of global team to support multiyear initiative of migrating commodity (Linux) based database systems to Oracle Exadata platform using Golden Gate and Data guard technologies. • Managing Oracle 11g and 12c databases configured to run Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (EBS) application used to support US and European Acelity enterprise resources functions. Support activities include performing database clones using Oracle ZFS, applying patches, maintaining Oracle OEM for proactive altering, setting up disaster recovery (DR) using Oracle data guard and participating in scheduled application DR tests.• Leveraging and managing offshore team to perform day-to-day tasks, coordinating production outages, scheduling and implementing weekly production changes to meet business requirements.

• Responsible for providing system level database support to applications using Oracle RDBMS as backend database. Several of the database instances were configured with RAC, Oracle Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM). These applications supported Fidelity trading activity and had stringent requirements for availability and uptime. Thoroughly followed Fidelity’s requirements of change control and providing back out solution for every database change. • Assisted application architects in planning, scheduling and coordinating upgrades and migrations of applications involving backend oracle databases. Have successfully executed database migrations of over two hundred databases during Fidelity career. Migration activities included Oracle 7 to Oracle 11g databases with both RAC and Non-RAC systems. Set standards for database migrations and ensured that consistent migration process was followed within the team. Developed a system to gather data from the assembly line of Anti Brake Systems (ABS) and loaded data directly into oracle database. The system was used by various plant personnel for reporting and analysis. Fully responsible for maintaining the system along with providing connectivity solutions to end users.
