- Work with Fortune 500 companies to provide them custom Dell solutions through our globabl fulfillment processes- Provide stakeholders with timely project status and drive execution of the project to meet expected completion time frame, assess risks and provide corrective actions if a project is in danger of missing a customers SLA- Program manage global process improvement projects to reduce engineering cycle time and remove redundancies; train engineers and project managers on new processes

- Create test plans and lead multiple software validation testing efforts across a global test environment for the Factory Install Validation (FIV) group at Dell- Lead Engineer for new platform launches ensuring all aspects of the factory install process have been tested to meet required quality standards- Communicate test execution status, scope changes, and issue regression findings with global team members through e-mail, instant messaging, and conference calls as needed- Work closely with internal and external software development teams to ensure their deliverables meet our test entrance criteria and schedule constraints- Member of our automation development core team that helped develop the business requirements documentation and software requirements specifications that helped define our engineering process for automation- Perform UAT testing of automation tools and provide feedback to the developers regarding workflow, ease of use and user interface improvments

- Test OEM motherboards, AMD and Intel processors, IDE, SATA and SCSI hard drives, high speed DDR memory, high-end AGP and PCIe graphics cards for workstation performance analysis- Work with the AMD Quartet and other four processor based servers running 64 bit SuSE LINUX Enterprise Server and 64 bit Redhat Linux Enterprise Edition to test memory and processor performance using the SpecCPU2000 and Stream benchmarks- Utilize my computer architecture, hardware, and software knowledge to configure test systems’ BIOS, hardware and operating system to achieve maximum performance while conducting comparison studies of AMD processor based platforms against Intel processor based platforms- Benchmark CAD and digital content creation applications such as AutoCAD 2004, Solidworks 2005, Maya 5.0, 3D Studio Max 6, SoftImage and many others- Provide workstation and server performance data to multiple sources including team leads, development engineers and marketing groups

- Extensive test experience with all Microsoft operating systems and many 3rd party software applications- Communicate on a daily basis with test leads and development engineers regarding test progress, issue regression status, and recommended test executions- Find and document issues, assigning them a severity based on system and customer impact- Bios and driver validation testing with Windows 2000 and XP Pro/Home- Perform hardware validation testing of external USB, Fire wire, and PCMCIA devices and 802.11 a/b/g wireless networking devices
