About Michael Sorocky

I currently work on autonomy for Canadarm3 at MDA, with a particular focus on collision avoidance, computer vision, and path planning. Previously I completed my MASc in robotics focusing on learning & control in the Dynamic Systems Lab at the University of Toronto. During that time I also worked as a planning developer for U of T's self driving car team, aUToronto. My undergraduate degree is in computer engineering at U of T, during which I worked on electronics and manufacturing for fixed-wing UAVs at PrecisionHawk for 16 months.
