Having the best idea is only half of the solution. Communication and persuasion are the other half. Throughout my career, my ability to quickly and accurately assess the needs of others has enabled me to communicate effectively and build deep and effective relationships with those around me. This in turn makes it possible to tailor solutions to generate lasting and meaningful positive change for individuals, teams and organizations and to easily communicate the power and value of positive change. My skills and talents in these areas have helped me to better the lives of others as a therapist and now as a manger and leader. For the past several years, I have had the opportunity to work across the mental health and healthcare spectrum. I even have had the opportunity to experience healthcare systems in several different states as I supported my wife in completing her doctoral studies. These work experiences have given me a deep knowledge and keen insights into the healthcare system. I have also had the honor to help individuals heal from personal pain, help teams innovate to meet critical challenges, and increased the effectiveness of teams through process improvement and effective strategic communications. Although I have accomplished much in my career, I remain committed to personal growth, continuous learning and making today's version of me better than yesterday and helping my team, my colleagues and my clients to do the same.
