Director, Change Management + Workplace Strategy
CurrentAs the director of our change management & workplace strategy consulting practice, I partner with organizations that are going through massive changes to where and how their employees work. These changes often involve corporate real estate shifts (remote work, new HQ, activity-based work design) or implementation of a new technology tool or process. In most cases, these changes are perceived as an upending of what affected employees and (in some cases even more so) their leaders are used to. Corporations and change practitioners often talk about “resistance to change”. I like to frame change management differently; our role in the process is to educate & build excitement for what is to come.As a workplace strategist, I foster dialogue & conduct strategic planning with an organization’s leadership to determine what the future of work best looks like for their unique goals and circumstances. As a change manager, I engage stakeholders in a structured process to discover their concerns & ideas so that we can better implement the proposed changes.Every transformation is different, but on most projects I manage our consulting team, interface with the client’s internal project team, collaborate with external partners, have visibility with the project’s executive sponsor, and take a visible role in engaging affected stakeholders.I have expertise in the following skills & deliverables: project management, program development, employee engagement, strategic planning, corporate communication, training development & facilitation, data collection & analytics, executive coaching, communication plans, change management road maps, manager tool kits, RACI diagrams, work style profiles, and more.
