Currently working as Senior Relationship Manager Corporate Banking Division North, handling a portfolio of USD 110 Million. Major responsibilities include:• Successfully on boarded New to Bank corporate customers by extending credit facilities amounting to PKR 4,000 Million in the first quarter since joining. • Overall management of the Divisional portfolio of the Northern Region with Revenue and bottom line targets. Enhanced monitoring and utilization of resources for increased yields and assertive risk policies.• Marketing, negotiating, syndicating and executing transactions/projects for various Funded / Non – Funded facilities. • Evaluate and execute transactions (screening, structuring, term sheets, negotiations, documentation and subsequent monitoring) to provide credit facilities to Corporate as well as SME Enterprises.• Handle all types of debt transactions (funded/non‐funded, structured finance, TFC etc.)

Successfully on – boarded a large corporate group on the local investor portfolio with an investment of PKR 10,000 Million within the first quarter.• Liaising with banks for arrangement of project financing for Zameen’s own projects including preparing financial models for banks, negotiating term sheets, finalizing drawdown schedules and finalizing escrow account arrangements. Successfully arranged underwriting of projects for PKR 1,500 Million till date.• Overseeing new business development by forming business collaborations and executing Joint Venture agreements with business partners; Lead the team for overall market and financial analyses for potential investments in real estate. Oversee the Company wide cash flow valuation models for prospective projects from the position of both developer and/or joint venture thereby presenting recommendations to management for decision making.• Collaborative work with peer units for the formalization of project schedules, timeframes, estimates, and progress reports (including managing changes to business needs and projects scope).• Administer designing of Pricing Models for Projects acquired under Exclusive Sales and Marketing and Zameen’s own Projects before making these projects online for Sale.• Negotiating term sheets, joint venture operating agreements, purchase/sale agreements, and development agreements.

• Identifying, developing and managing corporate client relationships and delivering a suite of banking products and services. • Ensuring healthy utilization of approved facilities, thereby positively contributing towards budgetary targets. • Coordinating with key government and internal departments for ensuring smooth cooperation on policy matters and mega projects. • In the process of marketing mega projects from hydro power and solar power sectors as well as infrastructure development projects i.e. road and rail network development. • Facilitated the development of infrastructure and policies of ICBC to bring them in line with local banking practices.

Manage corporate relationships including customers from the construction, real estate, textiles, power and sugar sectors. The scope of work includes the following:• Structured, obtained approvals and executed the issuance of largest single financial guarantee (USD 15.3 Million) in the history of the bank.• Closely monitoring infected portfolio, ensuring timely recovery of mark-up and reduction of exposure. • Monitoring of borrowers on a regular basis in order to ensure the provision of information with respect to the regulatory requirements, and overall health of the assigned portfolio.

Worked as a Relationship Manager managing a portfolio of large corporate relationships with an aggregate exposure in excess of USD 57 million, the assignment entails the following responsibilities: • Extending wholesale banking services including but not limited to trade finance, branch banking, syndicated loans, project finance, treasury products, cash management, etc.• Transactions included enhancing financing facilities of existing customers across various industries by USD 10.98 Million. • Marketed new corporate relationships worth USD 12.22 Million from the Food and Beverages, Fertilizers, Paper, Poultry, Edible Oil, Power and Sugar sectors. • Develop and manage collaborative relationships with product teams to facilitate and improve their access to the client base and create high value-added deals with business lines. • Responsible for managing a team of Relationship Officers and a diverse portfolio of accounts ensuring the financial health and managing the credit risk of the entire portfolio. Additionally guiding and training them for higher levels of responsibilities.

Manage corporate relationships with USD 45.84 Million plus exposure. The scope of work included the following:• Management and review of allocated portfolio, recommend appropriate credit facilities in line with the relationship strategy taking into account potential earnings maximization and bank’s risk appetite.• Identify new prospects within the target market to pursue growth opportunities.• Explore vertical and horizontal relationships with existing clients across their Group/owner affiliations, cross selling of products and services from other business divisions.• Ensuring external and internal control follow ups with clients, Credit Approval unit and other business segments ensuring smooth account operations.

Worked in the Corporate Banking Regional Head Office, looked after a portfolio of 200 plus clients. The assignment included:• Analysis of credit data and financial statements to prepare reports that included the degree of risk involved in extending credit. • Conferred with credit association and other business representatives to exchange credit information as well as preparing loan documents and loan requests for submission to the Loan Committees for approval. • Worked closely with the Enterprise Risk Management Department to formulate and improve the Obligor Risk Rating model under the guidelines of Basel-II Accord. Devise Risk mitigation strategies and suggest line structure for corporate customers.

Worked on the Medium Term Note (MTN) Desk, authoring MTN Daily distributed to MTN desks at investment banks. Analysed and reported derivative products issued in Hong Kong Dollars and US Dollars EMTN market.
