Led and participated in developing, implementing and monitoring/evaluating three sustainable development initiatives in Tamil Nadu, India, in conjunction with local NGO Payir. In 2012, led trip to Tamil Nadu, India to conduct primary research related to community compositing toilets and financial practices (focusing on informal savings practices) in rural India.
