Our Mission: To catalyze the flow of capital to local food systems, connecting investors to the places where they live and promoting new principles of fiduciary responsibility that “bring money back down to earth.”
Through our national gatherings, regional events and local activities, over $56.5 million has been invested into over 625 small food enterprises around the United States. Seventeen local networks and 11 investment clubs have formed. 33,170 people have signed the Slow Money Principles. Slow Money events have attracted thousands of people from 46 states and 7 countries. Slow Money investing has begun in Nova Scotia, Switzerland, France and Belgium.
