Heartland Unified Now Global Hunger Relief Initiative (HUNGHRI), a nonprofit organization founded in Minnesota, is actively working to make an impact on the current and impending food crisis locally, nationally, and internationally. Formed in the wake of unprecedented food insecurity, it’s estimated that over a billion people could be considered food insecure by the end of 2022, spawning increased migration and political instability, especially in net food import dependent countries in Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. VISION: A world where every human being can live without the fear of not knowing when they can eat again. MISSION: To elevate hunger and the current food crisis to the top of every person’s personal agenda and to invite them to become part of the solution. SOCIETAL VALUE PROPOSITION: Through music, food, art, and events we create a platform where everyone can participate in the HUNGHRI movement.
