At Rigor, I had the pleasure of working with a team of experienced engineers tackling hard problems at a global scale. On a daily basis, my team used modern software design approaches and standardized open source solutions such as docker, microservices, restful apis, continuous integration and automated unit testing. This adherence to industry best practices and enterprise design greatly simplified the ramping of new engineers and allowed us to confidently deploy updates to our global network of hundreds of servers across dozens of regions several times a day with no stress and zero downtime. In this role, I was the final owner for the efficient delivery of high quality, cost effective software updates to our customers. In addition, my team provided operational ownership of the 24/7 availability of our global network of monitoring agents across hundreds of servers and dozens of locations. I reported directly to the CEO in this role.Rigor was acquired by Splunk in October 2020.

Zoompf Inc. was acquired by Rigor Inc on October 12, 2015. Rigor is a leader in the web performance monitoring industry, and together with Zoompf provides the first end to end performance monitoring and problem resolution platform. As part of this acquisition, I assumed a new role of Director of Engineering for the Zoompf platform within Rigor.

In 2013 I joined Zoompf as co-founder and CEO. Zoompf was a web performance optimization and analysis platform used by enterprise brands such as Target, CNN, Ticketmaster and AirBnb. At Zoompf I wore many hats including sales, marketing, content generation, customer support, accounting and (most importantly) core product development and operational support. During my tenure I rewrote the entire web application in ASP.Net MVC4 in 4 (very long) months. Zoompf was acquired by Rigor Inc. in October 2015.

In January 2012 I assumed ownership of all core platform development teams at ChannelAdvisor. Collectively, these teams own the scalability, extensibility, availability and reuse of the existing and future core customer data tier architecture (18+ enterprise grade SQL servers + future directions with NoSQL/MongoDB on AWS), core inventory products platform, developer program/API, core product channel feed syndication platform, and core user interface components (login, grids, localization, navigation, common pages, etc.). These teams comprise of the most senior technical leadership within the company and are instrumental in charting out the future direction of the ChannelAdvisor core platform. It is my role to challenge and bring out the best of these "best of breed" engineers.My role also extended well beyond pure management and into Scrum Product Ownership, with heavy involvement in charting out roadmaps and backlogs, as well as holding team accountable to long term platform growth goals. In this capacity I work closely with the Director of Product Management as well as senior ChannelAdvisor leadership in advising, formulating, and owning strategic growth and adaptability of the core ChannelAdvisor platform.ChannelAdvisor was listed on the NYSE as ECOM in 2013.

Senior level manager for 2 teams at ChannelAdvisor, "Marketplaces" and "Software Services", where I wore many hats including product development mentor, platform architect, product owner, project owner, business liaison, customer advocate, and employee performance manager.The Marketplaces team owns all e-retailer integration components with established marketplaces such as Amazon Seller Central, Buy.Com, Overstock, Pixmania and Private hosted marketplaces. The marketplaces product is a dominant revenue generator for the company and continues to grow rapidly.The Software Services team owns the core platform foundation leveraged by all ChannelAdvisor products, including critical components such as REST API WebServices, Data Access repositories, Database Architecture governance, Scalable Feed Systems, Message Queuing and Generic Application Services, RabbitMQ Pub/Sub system, Cloud Based Image Hosting (S3), and more. This team comprises of the Chief Architect and 4 other senior technical leaders within the engineering organization.Additionally I served as the onsite office lead for the ChannelAdvisor Atlanta office and manage distributed offsite team members in 4 locations worldwide.

Was key player in the introduction Scrum development processes into organization. Final owner of 24/7 uptime of core company production level software.

Member of initial "day one" core software development team that created initial software platform that was later acquired for $180+ million acquisition by Goto.com 18 months later. Led multiple development teams as company continued grew, owning delivery of flagship mission-critical software systems including ecommerce integration with eBay, hosted checkout system, payment processing engine, private marketplace auction platform, and reusable ecommerce storefront platform.
