A detail orientated, site based role delivering high value projects in the specialised marine infrastructure space. From project startup through to delivery and handover this role encompasses all aspects of project engineering and construction management.

Responsible for the daily business activities, my role encompasses various facets from international procurement and logistics management, through to local interfacing with government and commercial clients. This extends to assuming the role of Project lead for the delivery throughout Australia with direct operational responsibility.

A fast paced role managing all civil and external aspects of the Aldinga Super School Project including scheduling, resource coordination, quality and safety compliance. This role involved on-site management of numerous sub-contractors in the safety, quality and program space to ensure key requirements were met. It also involved frequent stakeholder and client liaison to implement, manage and track their expectations of the project.

In this diverse role of both Site Supervisor and Project Engineer I oversee and manage projects of all sizes throughout the complete life-cycle. This unique roll holds a wide range of responsibilities including site management, site safety, quality assurance, scheduling, resource procurement and design.

As a Project Engineer, I am responsible for the operation of the project delivery from initial client facing and tendering to the project execution and handover. This diverse role involves contract management, internal and external resource management, cost control and on-site project execution in a highly specialised field. At Specilaised Solutions I was responsible for the overall management of projects assigned. As a Graduate Engineer, I was responsible for handling on-site duties assigned to me by the Project Manager. I would record and monitor the project costs including raising invoices and agreeing on variations, manage scheduling, resource allocation and build detail compliance. I also ensured that the projects were managed in a safe and professional manner and that all works were undertaken in compliance with all relevant Health and Safety legislation. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Supervision- Ensured industry best practice in the areas of safety, health, environment and quality, through application of company procedures and project plans.- Ensured all construction activities were controlled and coordinated to the client's standard whilst exceeding safety, quality, time and budget objectives. - Coordinated and supervised employees, subcontractors, plant, material and logistics.- Consciously created a workplace culture that was consistent with the Leighton's vision.Reporting and Issue Resolution- Completed reporting requirements in established Leighton systems to ensure productivity was managed and recorded.- Liaised with client representatives over site based issues, working towards efficient resolutions.Key Achievements: - Promoted to a Site Supervisor role from a Graduate Engineering position within 12 months.
