Greetings! I'm Marko Todorović, a think tanker, PhD student, and advocate dedicated to shaping a brighter future for the Western Balkans. In my academic journey, I always highlight my master's degree in International Peace and Security at King's College London as it has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between international law and international security. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD in Security Studies at the University of Belgrade, which offers me an opportunity to delve deeper into security research. In the centre of my professional journey lies my role at the European Policy Centre, where I specialise in EU enlargement, with a particular focus on the Western Balkans region. Here, I've had the privilege of exploring the intricate intersections of the political and technical sides of EU affairs. My mission is clear: to contribute meaningfully to the integration of Serbia and a wider region into the EU, fostering growth, development, democracy and human rights. Beyond the realm of policy and academia, I'm driven by a firm belief in the power of knowledge to effect positive change. Through activism-driven research, I aim to empower individuals with the insights they need to make informed decisions. For me, this is not merely a professional pursuit; it's a personal commitment to building bridges, fostering dialogue, and paving the way for a future where peace and prosperity prevail.
