European Policy Centre is a non-governmental, non-profit, independent think-tank, founded in 2011 by a group of professionals in the area of EU law, EU affairs, economics and public administration reform, with a shared vision of changing the policy making environment in Serbia for the better – by rendering it more evidence based, more open and inclusive and more substantially EU accession driven. As a Researcher I am a part of a programme area called "Europe&Us". Within Europe&Us, I conduct research on issues related to EU politics and institutional setup, and their influence on Serbia and its accession. Through Europe&Us, CEP also seeks to picture Serbia as an EU member state already, and consequently trigger the thinking about Serbia’s place and position in the EU institutions and politics. In its essence, Europe&Us is not a sectoral, vertical programme area, but rather a horizontal one, seeking to grasp a wider picture of Serbia’s EU path and analyse the transformations of the Union, against the rationale that Serbian public needs to know how the EU is evolving, in order to understand what Serbia is becoming a part of.

The European Student Think Tank is an NGO that empowers young people to be active players in the European Policy-making process. My roles responsibilities are the following:- Regularly writing articles on the topic of the European Affairs- Promoting and representing EST in Serbia- Organizing events and expanding the network

Institute of International Politics and Economics from Belgrade (IIPE) is one of the oldest institutes in South Eastern Europe, since it was established in 1947. IIPE studies the processes and phenomena in the field of international politics and economics. Providing a research and documentation basis for defining the country's foreign policy priorities, for many years IIPE has assisted the authorised bodies in creating and formulating the strategic directions in establishing and developing foreign political and economic relations. In its long research practice the Institute has established close co-operation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. My responsibilities are the following:- Researching and writing a research paper, on the following topic: "Role of the EU in the process of reconciliation between Serbia and Croatia". - Assisting the IIPE with the organization and implementation of various conferences, seminars and lectures, where the most qualified and educated persons from the field of International Relations are being gathered.

Main responsibilities include serving as a mentor to current UGRAD students from Serbia and Montenegro, represent the UGRAD Program during World Learning and U.S. Embassy events in Montenegro, being active in promoting the UGRAD Program on social media (e.g. tagging @GlobalUGRADWL on Twitter), communicating periodically with UGRAD alumni in the area, collecting and submitting alumni success stories to World Learning DC every three months, facilitating alumni gatherings and organizing at least one UGRAD alumni event of choice during the term of this appointment, helping World Learning train the next Alumni Coordinators, assisting World Learning during the re-entry seminar in June 2015 and communicating with World Learning DC staff on a regular basis (i.e. being responsive to WL emails and inquires).

Negotiating with companies, finding the right candidates from abroad and connecting them with the right company. By doing so we were, on one hand, providing a high quality worker for the company and on the other, giving the intern a great experience in Serbia.

Acting as a Research Assistant at the University of Missouri. I was asked to join the research by professor Melissa Buice, who was previously thought me the course "The Political System of the EU". My internship was consisted of collecting data and developing ideas for the research on the topic:“Homelessness in the US and the EU”.

United States

Global Undergraduate Exchange Program for Serbia and Montenegro provided me a full scholarship for one academic year of undergraduate, non-degree study in the United States.It was a full scholarship funded by the U.S. State Department. Students were encouraged to volunteer and to find an intership. By doing so all participants of this program have integrated with the American community.
