I am Mohamed Rashwan, Co-founder and COO of "Kemitt", the leading e-commerce platform specializing in furniture and home accessories.Over the last eight years, I have played a pivotal role along with my co-founders in transforming Kemitt into one of the top online destinations for furniture buyers in Egypt, driving a shift from traditional furniture industry practices to a more modern, consumer-focused approach.In my current role, I lead diverse teams across operations, content, and tech teams, and I am grateful to work alongside a talented group of colleagues. My approach emphasizes collaboration and innovation, which I believe are key to our continued success.Kemitt has achieved significant milestones and is now strategically expanding into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Concurrently, I have spent over 13 years at the helm of my own architecture and furniture design studio "Takween". This parallel venture has enriched my understanding of the complex interplay between design, technology, manufacturing, and business strategy.My educational background in architectural engineering, with a Bachelor's degree from Cairo University's Faculty of Engineering, has provided a strong foundation for navigating these dynamic intersections.Looking ahead, I am excited about the opportunities for further growth and innovation.My passion lies in creating impactful solutions and driving positive change in the startup community, furniture and design industry.
