How People Learn is an online, personalized course that is part of a common core experience for all incoming master’s students at HGSE. The course focuses on connecting the science of learning and human development to professional practice in education across roles.

• Taught Latin to grades 5-8, as well as English (2017-18) and Social Studies (2016-17)• Planned lessons and created assessments using Minimus and Cambridge Latin Course textbooks• Differentiated student work as necessary to accommodate individual learning profiles• Implemented use of supplemental classroom technologies in context of 1:1 laptop program• Served as homeroom teacher and advisor to a group of 7th grade students, and as 7th grade advisory team co-leader for 2018-2019

• Covered Latin, English, and History classes in grades 5-12
