As a Grad student at The University of Southern California, School of Pharmacy, I worked on multiple projects. I was responsible for the development and optimization of a method to screen dimeric IgA produced by rabbit hybridomas using Western Blot analysis which was a large-scale laboratory project. Simultaneously, I was involved with a lot of animal work which consisted of collecting tissues and physiological fluid samples. Using microscopy and various biochemical and molecular biological techniques tests were conducted and the changes in the ocular surface morphology and tear film of a knockout mice were visualized and monitored. Another project consisted of genotyping knockout and wild-type mice strains and cross-breeding them to increase the colony.
