Brittany Barrientos' environmental practice includes advising clients regarding environmental regulatory requirements arising under the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, hazardous waste laws and Superfund law, as well as state and local environmental laws and regulations. In order to provide more comprehensive analyses, Brittany expanded her practice to include OSHA advising, as well. Brittany's practice also includes defense of agency enforcement actions, including working with clients and agencies to develop and implement environmentally beneficial Supplemental Environmental Projects. She also regularly reviews and assists clients with comments on state and federal rulemakings. She includes time in her practice to provide education to clients regarding regulatory requirements and strategies for compliance with environmental laws. Brittany has worked extensively with the chemical industry, electric generating utilities, and municipalities.
