I am a passionate communications professional with more than 20 years of successful and impactful communications, media relations, public relations, and marketing experience in the private and not-for-profit sectors.I have a wide-ranging skill set including, but not limited to, media relations, journalism, public relations, volunteer management, event management, disaster / crisis management, photography/video gathering, and social media.My experience has taken me from the small towns of Ontario to some of the world's largest cities such as Islamabad, Pakistan, and Tokyo, Japan. I have worked in extremely challenging situations such as the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, the tsunami in Japan, and drought and food insecurity in numerous African countries.I am also extremely passionate about nature, animals, and volunteering, and ensure that I support my community as much as I possibly can.
